Pulmonary embolism imaging

This website came about because of a medical emergency in our family. After a scary diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis/bilateral pulmonary embolisms (DVT/PE), a family member was placed on anticoagulant therapy using warfarin. While we were grateful that the outcome was good, we were all stumped by the new dietary restrictions since our loved one is a vegetarian. He suddenly had to cut out many, many foods that made up the backbone of his normal diet.

We set out to educate ourselves on all things Vitamin K, spending countless hours poring over nutrition information, trying to figure out what he could safely (and happily!) eat. Meal planning was our salvation. And it can be yours, too.
